AMOS Pro install and run issue

!! UPDATE !!

(May 27 2024)

Following on from this post, a solution HAS been found.

Installing AMOS Pro Version 2 solves the problem, and AMOS will run from WB with no video corruption issues!
I will post a video on this process, and the updated installer… in due course.

I have managed to install AMOS Pro from floppy disk on my second Amiga A1200. Yes, I did have to make some changes to the installer program so it detected and calculated free storage correctly and would install AMOS Pro okay.

But with AMOS now installed, I have this problem:

  1. Run the AMOS Pro program and I get a corrupt screen. AMOS Pro is running, but the display is garbled.

  2. If I run an AMOS program direct from workbench, it fires AMOS Pro up just fine and displays perfectly.

This is causing me a headache. Anyone got any ideas?

See the video below to see the issue. It has sound, me talking mostly.
